Our adventurous and exciting tour highlights many aspects of the Democratic Republic of Congo, from nature to cultural experiences. You’ll have the chance to take a boat ride on stunning Lake Kivu, visit the the Rwandan historical museum in Butare and see rare and beautiful primates including the endangered and mystical Mountain Gorilla Angolan Acrobatic Colobus Monkey and chimpazees in volcano national park and Nyugwe forests. You’ll have the opportunity to  interact with local people, including children, and learn about life in this beautiful country. You will be entrtained by intore dancers, At the end of the tour, before you depart from Kigali, there will be a visit to the Genocide Memorial Centre which commemorates the 1994 Rwandan genocide – 1 million people were killed in 100 days.

Day 1: Kigali City Tour

Full Day Kigali City Tour. Visit several genocide memorial sites including Gisozi Genocide Memorial Site, Nyamata Genocide Memorial Site and Ntarama Memorial Site.

Day 2: Travel to Lake Kivu

Day 3: Travel to Virunga National Park

Day 4: Gorilla Tracking in Virunga National Park
Return to Lake Kivu after the gorilla trek.

Day 5: Travel to Nyungwe Forest

Day 6: Chimpanzee Tracking in Nyungwe Forest

Day 7: Return to Kigali
